What is the
Sherman Circle Spooktacular?
The Spooktacular is the largest 100% free, family-friendly Halloween celebration in NW DC and is meant for and funded by the Petworth community. This incredible event brings together balloon artists, face painters, jugglers, dancers, The Great Zucchini, Teatro de la Luna, roving wizards, stilt walkers, giveaways, a costume contest, a fire truck / police car, over three dozen Petworth area organizations and businesses....and 2,000 friends and neighbors! Come celebrate the spooky season at this safe and affordable family-friendly celebration in Sherman Circle Park.
This incredible FREE community event is 100% dependent on community donations and small grants. Help us keep the Spooktacular spectacular and accessible by supporting the event with your tax deductible donation or sponsorship.

The event attracts over 2,000 attendees, while event marketing (posters, listservs, media, city council/ANC distribution, etc) reaches well over 25,000 residents of the Greater Petworth; sponsors will get incredible brand visibility for minimal investment. Click here to get started!

The Spooktacular is planned and produced by Petworth Peanuts, a 100% volunteer-run 501c3 community organization. And don't forget, all donations to Peanuts/the Spooktacular are 100% tax deductible!
