Plus, we'll discuss legal policy and best practices for nannies or other domestic workers. Learn what employers can do to create a great childcare environment in their home!​​​​​

Our most popular annual member event - don't miss the 2025 Peanuts Spring Eggstravaganza! Join us starting for kids entertainment, live music, giveaways (while supplies last), and of course an egg hunt with more than 1,000 eggs! This event is members-only and is intended for children ages 5 and under. Tickets are required and now available on the Member Portal.

April 12th, 12-2p - community event

Celebrate creativity with a fun-filled afternoon of hands-on activities along Upshur Street! This free, family-friendly event features engaging craft workshops, book reading, and interactive art experiences hosted by local businesses. Activities include canvas-painting, lantern-making, flower coloring, story time, and more. Check out more information here! No RSVP needed, just stop by!​

Household management and parenting responsibilities shouldn’t feel like another job—especially for one partner. In this important session, Marth Hoffman of Grounded Learning will break down the Fair Play Method—a reasonable way to divide domestic and parenting responsibilities more equitably. One of our favorite annual traditions, Peanut member moms are invited to join us for a lovely celebration of motherhood. Tickets will soon be available for a delicious Italian brunch at San Matteo featuring a pri fixe menu with bottomless wine / mimosas, as well as coffee, tea and dessert. Peanut members will have the opportunity to book Peanuts Spring Family portraits starting Friday, March 21st at noon. Returning photographers include Derrick Brooks, Shoott, Aria Smith and Wes Dawson. The booking linkwas distributed directly to members and NEW DATES will soon be available! Sessions are ~$75, 10 minutes long, and include 3-5 edited photos.

Join us for our monthly All Member Meet-Up, a casual and fun happy hour at Sonny's Pizza! Every month, we gather at local, independent spots around our neighborhood and enjoy discounted food and drink specials while supporting small businesses. Families are always welcome—including little ones! ​​

Potty Training can feel like a daunting task: How do you do it? When?! What kind of stuff do I need to get started?! Answer these questions and more in this virtual session with Sally Sneuberger of Sneuberger Therapy! Sally is a LCSW with over 20 years of experience in childhood development, including potty training. Join us at 8pm for this great opportunity to learn from her! 

May 10th - community event

We are thrilled to collaborate with Ward 4 Mutual Aid once again on this impactful annual event! Start readying your donations of kids/maternity clothes, toys, gear, furniture, and anything/everthing kid-related! Donations will be accepted starting in April and redistributed for FREE on May 10th. More details coming

June 14th, 10a - 12pm - community event

The beloved annual Petworth Pride in the Park celebration is scheduled for June 14th from 10a-12pm in Sherman Circle! All families are invited to join us in the park for live music, balloon artists, face painters, a performance by the beautiful drag queen Tara Hoot, and of course, a mini pride parade!
